Mr. Hisham Al-Omeisy is an information specialist and a conflict analyst by profession. Currently the Senior Yemen Advisor with the European Institute of Peace, he previously worked as the Information Resources Center Director with the U.S. Mission to Yemen where he received the U.S. State Department’s Superior Honor Award. He has over 20 years of experience working with government and non-government organizations, and is a regular speaker in conflict and human rights conferences and conventions, and a media commentator with bylines in the press, reports and documentaries on Yemen and the region. He holds a BA in International Relations, an MA in Reconciliation and Peacebuilding, and a Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace, and Security.
