Thomas Ritzer is the Senior Advisor on Climate Change and Security and leads the Climate Change Team at the OSCE. Before joining the OSCE, Thomas was a Senior Advisor at the Berghof Foundation, where he spearheaded the integration of climate considerations into conflict transformation and peacebuilding programmes. Thomas previously worked on a range of emerging policy issues at the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, where he inter alia launched and co-led the Climate Security Mechanism, as well as the UN Department of Peace Operations.
