Johannes Zahnen is currently the Senior Adviser in Forest Policy at the World Wide Fund for Nature Germany (WWF), with with a special focus on illegal wood trade and forensic methods, as well as the implementation of the European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR). He has previously worked in various environmental departments of companies, and working on environmental management systems. His academic background lies in construction engineering and bio-engineering.
