Anka Feldhusen is the Director for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Stabilisation at the German Federal Foreign Office. She holds degrees in Political Science, Slavistics, and English from the Kiel School of Applied Sciences and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, as well as a master’s in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in the USA. Anka has held various diplomatic roles, including at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Federal President, and as Deputy Head of the German Embassy in Cuba. She has led the Foreign Office in Prizren, Kosovo, and served three times at the German Embassy in Ukraine, most recently as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from 2019. Fluent in Ukrainian, Anka Feldhusen is recognised for her expertise in crisis prevention, stabilisation, and international diplomacy.
