Richard Brewin is Lead Officer and Scientific Advisor in the Climate and Energy Security Section at NATO. He is a chartered scientist and was an International Capability Development & Sustainability Fellow at the Ministry of Defence, UK and former Project Officer, Energy & Environment Systems as well as former Chair Energy and Environment Working Group at the European Defence Agency (EDA). He has a twenty year management career established in development and implementation of high-level Government policy at UK and international levels including leadership on defence / security strategy and military equipment capability development, interfaces with the Defence Industrial & Technological base and international supply chains, other militaries, the European Defence Agency (UK specialist representative on energy and environment) and wider EU, and NATO.
