Emmanuel Wakana is a peacebuilder and youth development specialist from Burundi. He is the founder and Executive Director  of Youth Empowerment and Leadership Initiative (YELI- Burundi), a non-profit youth led-initiative that empowers young people on issues that affect their lives for positive change, peace and prosperity in Burundi. He is also the former country representative of the International Youth Action Against Terrorism.
