Cooperation between international and regional organisations is essential for addressing climate security risks effectively, enabling coordinated and impactful responses to shared challenges.

This workshop brings together experts from the AU, EU, IGAD, NATO, OSCE and the UN to share their responses to climate-related security risks in crisis management missions and peace operations, from a strategic level to tools such as risk assessment, building institutional and staff capacity in the area of climate security, and the use of climate security advisers. It offers the opportunity to share good practices and knowledge within and between organisations, to identify synergies and to expand partnership synergies.
