Abigail Robinson is a Programme Management Advisor with DCAF’s Operations Department, where she leads studies and pilot projects in areas including climate security, hybrid security, and security sector governance and reform in fragile and conflict affected contexts. She has led advisory teams supporting reform processes in countries including Colombia, Kosovo, Mali, and Kenya, with an emphasis on improving strategic planning and the management of human and financial resources in the security sector. Her previous roles also include Senior Programme Officer for the Center for Civil Military Relations, Senior Defense Governance Advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Head of the U.S. Delegation to the OPCW in The Hague, and U.S. Army officer.

Abigail holds a Master’s degree in Political Science (Conflict Resolution & Governance) from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
