Dr. Sunday Okello Angoma has more than 25 years of experience as conflict transformation specialist, and is currently working for Intergovernamental Authority on Development (IGAD) – Conflict Early Warning and Response Mechanism (CEWARN) as Conflict Analyst. Prior to this, he lectured at IPSS and is lead researcher on the African Union Peace and Security Programme. He has been working in South Sudan for two years now to develop a comprehensive Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution strategy (CPMR) together with the government of South Sudan’s Peace and Reconciliation Commission (SSPRC). He is involved in the China-Africa Think-Tank in Peace and Security in Africa. He has also managed World Bank projects, trained UNESCO Voluntary Organisations and is actively involved in the work of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Continental Early Warning at the African Union Peace and Security Council (AU-PSC).
