Thais Lazzeri works with what shapes the world before decisions are made: stories. Bridging journalism, film, and strategy, she has built a career dedicated to turning narrative into action and influence.

She is the founder and director of FALA, a Brazilian impact studio that drives social change through communication, storytelling, and strategy. She leads global projects at the intersection of human rights, climate and the environment, democracy, and information integrity.

She is the creator of Lies Have a Price (Mentira Tem Preço), a climate information integrity program that helped advance information integrity within the COP30 process, contributing to its inclusion in a final COP outcome document for the first time. She also created the Information Integrity Observatory, an intelligence platform designed to support decision-making by global stakeholders working across human rights, digital rights, and climate.

In 2025, she was selected as a TEDx speaker in Brazil and as an Eisenhower Fellow through the Global Program in the United States, which brings together visionary leaders committed to social impact and collective solutions to global challenges. That same year, she became co-chair of Catalyst BR NOW. She also represents CAAD, a global coalition working to counter climate disinformation, in Brazil.

Over fifteen years as a journalist and documentary filmmaker, she has received numerous national and international honors, including the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s Stop Slavery Award for her work on human trafficking and forced labor.
