Nnaemeka Chukwuone is the Director of the Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre (REPRC), Environment for Development (EfD) Nigeria, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He is also a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at UNN. For over twenty years, Professor Chukwuone has been conducting research and policy work in the fields of environmental and resource economics, agriculture, and sustainable development. He has also served in various capacities and has been involved in numerous national and international assignments. He won the Nigeria at 60 Jubilee Special Award for Outstanding Teacher/Lecturer, presented by the President of Nigeria on September 30, 2021. He is a member of some professional organizations and was the immediate past President of the African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AFAERE) from 2022 to 2024. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the African Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics (AJARE). He is married and has children.
