Ghulam Isaczai is the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) since 2022. He also serves as the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator. Isaczai brings more than 28 years of experience in preventive diplomacy and complex humanitarian, development, recovery and peace-building settings.
