Diane Sheinberg leads the UN SG’s Peacebuilding Fund investments in the Sahel, Haiti and a Northern Africa. She led the first thematic review on climate peace and security based on PBF’s innovative portfolio. She worked as a Peace and Development Advisor a.i in Haiti. Previously she worked for UNDP on the role of political institutions in crisis prevention and recovery with a focus on women and youth. Prior to joining UNDP, she worked for the European Commission and UNICEF in Sierra Leone and as an EU electoral observer in Indonesia, Cambodia and Nigeria.
