Paul Opio has been with FAO for 15 years where he designed and managed several emergency and resilience projects. He is currently working for FAO Sub Regional Office for Eastern Africa, in its Resilience Team’ s Office in Nairobi as Livestock and Pastoralism Advisor. Paul has more than seventeen years of experience working with Regional Economic Communities in Eastern Africa (IGAD, East Africa Community), UN agencies and NGOs in providing support on national, cross border, regional emergency and resilience programme. He has extensive experience in pastoralism, dryland resilience, policy development and programming.
