Dr. Sandra Schuster is a Planning Officer at GIZ, where she works on a diverse range of projects globally/regionally/bi-lateral on activities related to climate change adaptation and climate risk and resilience. She is a climate change adaptation, risk and resilience specialist with over 15 years professional work in the public and private sector in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South Pacific and Australia. She has worked on projects and contracts for and with a number of institutions, including GIZ, UNDP, Asian Development Bank, The World Bank Group, national governments (State Level), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), universities, research institutions, local and multi-national companies (Munich Re) as well as international NGOs.
