BCSC 2026 Speaker: Dr Nico Bauer

Dr. Nico Bauer leads the Integrated Assessment Modeling Group at PIK together with Jessica Strefler. Educated in economics, Dr. Bauer works and published in the area of integrated assessment modeling for more than two decades in various fields including political economy of mitigation, energy security, equity, climate finance and long-term scenarios. Dr Bauer is a lead author for Working Group 1 of the 7th Assessment Report of the IPCC.
