Japhet William Graham Eichel has more than 15 years of professional experience in conflict and violent extremism prevention, gender, governance and climate adaptation in conflict-affected countries with private security partners, NATO and the United Nations. He has also worked at United Nations Headquarters. Mr Eichel’s current role with the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific includes advising UN Women's global work on Climate, Peace and Security and supporting policy and advocacy in integrating gender, climate resilience and inclusive governance as well as enhancing women’s political participation and leadership in climate-informed peacebuilding.
