Laís Clemente Pereira is a Consultant in the Climate Diplomacy and Security team at adelphi. Her work spans research, communications and the convening of stakeholders at workshops and conferences to develop policy recommendations. She is particularly interested in innovative and inclusive responses to climate and environmental impacts on human security, specially in the Latin American context. At adelphi, she also leads multimedia communications activities, including the Climate Diplomacy knowledge platform and the Factbook, an interactive tool with case studies on environmental conflict and cooperation. Previously, she worked on security issues such as organised crime and gun control in the Brazilian context. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Brazil and a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Germany.
