Ferre Westermann is a critical minerals advisor to the OECD Director for Global Relations and Sherpa to the G7, G20 and APEC, building on his experience in complex systems engineering and diplomacy. In this capacity, he contributes to the OECD leveraging its longstanding expertise on minerals across multiple policy domains through the OECD Initiative on Critical Minerals for Sustainable Growth and Development. Mr Westermann has previously held positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He holds a MSc in Complex Systems Engineering and Management at Delft University of Technology and a Master of Arts in International Relations at Leiden University.
