Jennifer Lee Morgan is State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action at the German Federal Foreign Office.
She holds a Master in International Affairs from the School of International Service, The American University, Washington, D.C. She worked as a Coordinator, in the US Climate Action Network (USCAN), as a director at WWF International as well as a director at Third Generation Environmentalism. She was Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (2010-2017), Member of the German Council for Sustainable Development (2013-2016) and Executive Director, Greenpeace International (GPI), Amsterdam (2016-2022), before she was appointed State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action at the German Federal Foreign Office on 16 March 2022.
