Dr. Linda Ogallo is a resourceful, highly dedicated and goal-driven Climate Information Services Expert with over a decade of experience focusing on climate change adaptation. On climate security, she led IGAD technical team in the establishment of the IGAD Climate Security Mechanism. She holds a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Adaptation from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina Central University, and a Certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from Yale University. Presently, in her role as a Climate Change Information Expert at the IGAD Climate Prediction and Application Centre (ICPAC), through support from the Norwegian Capacity (NORCAP), she is responsible for mainstreaming climate information into all sectors at a regional, national and sub-national levels.
