Alina Viehoff is a consultant at the Climate Diplomacy and Security programme at adelphi. Her work focuses on finding and implementing solutions to the complex challenges related to climate change, peace and security. In doing so, she supports multilateral cooperation and action while promoting local approaches and actors. Alina is particularly interested in exploring how climate action can become an entry point for cooperation and peacebuilding. Previously, she worked as a research associate at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH), analysing different interpretations of climate security in international relations. Alina holds a master’s in human geography from the University of Hamburg.
