Tobias Pietz is the deputy head of the analysis at the Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF) in Berlin. His current areas of focus are the missions of the European Union within the framework of the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), peacekeeping partnerships, and climate security. Previously, he worked as senior researcher at the Bonn International Centre for Conversion (BICC), mainly focusing on the topics of disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) and small arms control.
