Cosmin Dobran is Director of the Peace, Partnerships and Crisis Management Directorate at the European External Action Services (EEAS).

Prior to this position, Mr Dobran served as a Romanian diplomat in Washington D.C. and Bruxelles. He has worked on different external action areas, such as development, trade and economic governance as well as European internal issues like youth, education, trade and transport. He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest as well as the School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C.
