Ms. S. Hasanthi Urugodawatte Dissanayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka (Sto Türkiye,is a career diplomat with over 27 years of experience in the Sri Lanka Foreign Service. She has served in Sri Lanka Missions in Tokyo, Stockholm, Rome, Shanghai and Ha Noi .

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, she has served in political, economic, protocol, UN and multilateral affairs Divisions. Prior to her taking up duties in Ankara, she was the Additional Secretary for Ocean Affairs, Environment and Climate Change at the Ministry.

Prior to joining the foreign service she has worked with NGOs and INGOs on environment and sustainable development related issuses.
