Chitra Nagarajan focuses on conflict analysis, climate security, civilian protection, peacebuilding, gender, and human rights. She has worked across West Africa for almost 15 years, including examining climate security in the Lake Chad Basin region and in Mali for Weathering Risk. She takes intersectional feminist approaches, integrating gender, disability, and other aspects of social inclusion throughout all her work. She is a member of the Climate Security Expert Network.
