Dr. Kemoli Sagala served as a Governance and Strategy Advisor in the Kenyan Ministry of Devolution and the Ministry of Energy from 2016 until 2022.

He studied National Security Studies at the National Defence University in Kenya. Dr. Sagala is an Associate Fellow at the Horn International Institute of Strategic Studies in Nairobi. Previously, he worked as a national security and political strategy consultant and scholar.
