H.E. Ambassador Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle is the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Kenya. He is a leading civil society figure, mediator, researcher, and peace campaigner with extensive experience in mediation, negotiation, reconciliation, and peacebuilding.

Ambassador Jabril played an instrumental role in Somalia’s successive reconciliation conferences and contributed to the establishment of the Transitional National Government and subsequent federal governments and institutions. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Research and Dialogue (CRD), he led initiatives supporting reconciliation, district administration, and state formation, including in South-West State, Jubbaland, and Galmudug.

He has worked with the United Nations, World Bank, European Union, Interpeace, and other international and local organizations on peace and economic development. Previously based in Ottawa, Canada, he co-founded a multicultural community-based mediation service in partnership with Carleton University and Canadian institutions. He holds degrees in Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology from Carleton University.
